The Fulbright Commission Advising Center facilitated by the EducationUSA network assists U.S. colleges and universities with their recruitment efforts in the Czech Republic.

The website also includes updated information on the Czech Republic and Advising Center services for U.S. educators. You can also access the most recent EducationUSA Global Guide and Student Mobility Fact Sheets for detailed information on current statistics, recruitment trends, country highlights, and government scholarships written by experts on the ground.

  1. We welcome information materials sent by schools, however we prefer electronic versions sent through the e-mail.
  2. We do not keep a reference library anymore as local students prefer online information.
  3. If you still want to send us print materials or brochures please only send one copy of each.
  4. We prefer materials with information targeted specifically towards international students.
  5. Information about scholarships and specific scholarship announcements are especially appreciated.

The Czech Fulbright Commission / EducationUSA Prague organizes fairs in cooperation with the local U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Interested schools can also participate at fairs organized by other organization. Here is a short overview of some organizations that were or are involved in organizing education fairs in the Czech Republic in past years:

There are several types of secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Students cannot choose levels of courses, the level is set by the type of school where they study. The most demanding level of courses is offered at Gymnaziums. Gymnaziums produce the best quality students who are prepared in liberal arts subjects for further college studies.

There are also several schools in the Czech Republic that offer study programs in English. Some of them belong to the national system, while some of them are international and offer IB or British programs.

Farewell to Our 23 English Teaching Assistants

On Friday, June 5, in Olomouc, we celebrated 23 Fulbright English Teaching Assistants who, throughout this school year, taught 6460 students at 24 schools across the Czech Republic. Together with 152 Czech colleagues, they brought new energy, creativity, and authenticity into classrooms and school communities
