College FairsThe Czech Fulbright Commission / EducationUSA Prague organizes fairs in cooperation with the local U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Interested schools can also participate at fairs organized by other organization. Here is a short overview of some organizations that were or are involved in organizing education fairs in the Czech Republic in past years:
Secondary SchoolsThere are several types of secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Students cannot choose levels of courses, the level is set by the type of school where they study. The most demanding level of courses is offered at Gymnaziums. Gymnaziums produce the best quality students who are prepared in liberal arts subjects for further college studies.
There are also several schools in the Czech Republic that offer study programs in English. Some of them belong to the national system, while some of them are international and offer IB or British programs.
