The Fulbright Commission Advising Center facilitated by the EducationUSA network assists U.S. colleges and universities with their recruitment efforts in the Czech Republic.

The website also includes updated information on the Czech Republic and Advising Center services for U.S. educators. You can also access the most recent EducationUSA Global Guide and Student Mobility Fact Sheets for detailed information on current statistics, recruitment trends, country highlights, and government scholarships written by experts on the ground.

Guidelines for Sending Promotional Materials to the Center

1. We welcome information materials sent by schools, however we prefer electronic versions sent through the e-mail.
2. We do not keep a reference library anymore as local students prefer online information.
3. If you still want to send us print materials or brochures please only send one copy of each.
4. We prefer materials with information targeted specifically towards international students.
5. Information about scholarships and specific scholarship announcements are especially appreciated.

The Advising Center sends a monthly newsletter to prospective Czech students interested in study abroad. If you want to place an announcement, please send it to the Educational Advisor by email to .

Facebook

The Advising Center operates a Facebook page for prospective Czech students.

We also have a Facebook group for current Czech students studying in the U.S. If you have any Czech students on your campus, please encourage them to join the group.

The calendar lists national and public holidays, academic schedules, vacation period etc. and contains recommendations for the best time to visit the Czech Republic for recruitment purposes. This information should help U.S. schools with planning their recruitment visits in the Czech Republic.

College Fairs

The Czech Fulbright Commission / EducationUSA Prague organizes fairs in cooperation with the local U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Secondary Schools

There are several types of secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Students cannot choose levels of courses, the level is set by the type of school where they study. The most demanding level of courses is offered at Gymnaziums. Gymnaziums produce the best quality students who are prepared in liberal arts subjects for further college studies.
