The Czech Republic with five Distinguished Scholar positions belongs to countries which all together offer approximately 40 Distinguished Scholar Awards.
The Candidates for Distinguished Scholar award should be eminent scholars and have a significant publication and teaching record.

Deadline for Distinguished Scholar Awards is September 15 for the following academic year. In exceptional cases the deadline can be subject to minor adjustment.
The fellowship is co-financed by the host institution.

On Friday, June 5, in Olomouc, we celebrated 23 Fulbright English Teaching Assistants who, throughout this school year, taught 6460 students at 24 schools across the Czech Republic. Together with 152 Czech colleagues, they brought new energy, creativity, and authenticity into classrooms and school communities
