Welcoming Our New English Teaching Assistants

During the final week of the summer holidays, we held a training program in Litomyšl for 25 new English Teaching Assistants. They will support English language teaching at secondary schools in Benešov, Boskovice, Bystřice nad Pernštejnem, Čáslav, České Budějovice, Děčín, Frýdek-Místek, Ivančice, Jablonec nad Nisou, Jihlava, Kroměříž, Lipník nad Bečvou, Litovel, Moravské Budějovice, Cheb, Chrudim, Rumburk, Slavkov, Sokolov, Šlapanice, Tábor, Uherské Hradiště, Valašské Meziříčí, and Vlašim.

For part of the program, we also welcomed the assistants’ host teachers, Czech English teachers from the secondary schools where the assistants will be working during the new school year.

The English Teaching Assistant Program is funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the CR and the U.S. Department of State.
